Xinjiang Corps Deputy Commander Li Xu under investigation

Li Xu, deputy commander of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, has been placed under disciplinary review and supervisory investigation while in office on suspicion of serious violations of Party discipline and national laws, the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission announced Thursday.
Li, 52, was appointed executive deputy head of the Organization Department of the CPC Committee of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps in 2017. In June 2022, he assumed the posts of member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Committee of the Corps and deputy commander of the Corps.
