The third anniversary celebration of Helena Rubinstein's (HR) public-welfare project Helena Powers, was held at Shanghai Jiao Tong University recently. The event featured three roundtable discussions focusing on women's entrepreneurship and an award ceremony honoring participants for their remarkable contributions across diverse fields.

Seven outstanding awardees were recognized, including pioneers in technological innovation, advocates for social equity supporting vulnerable groups, and leaders driving rural revitalization and sustainable development, showcasing the diverse vitality and social responsibility of Chinese women entrepreneurs.

Upholding its founder's commitment to empowering women, HR launched the Helena Powers' entrepreneurship camp in 2018, offering professional training courses for aspiring women entrepreneurs. In 2023, in collaboration with Shanghai Jiao Tong University's Antai College of Economics-Management and another university program, the project was upgraded to provide systematic professional courses and a platform for learning and exchange.

Over three years, the initiative has benefited more than 160 offline participants and over 800 online learners.

Wang Yuan, brand communication director of HR China, said, "Over the past three years, I have closely followed the vibrant interactions and activities organized by participants in our alumni groups. As a corporate professional, I deeply admire their spirit of starting businesses from scratch, echoing the legacy of HR's founder over a century ago."

She added, "We aim to build a platform where women entrepreneurs can connect with peers, acquire practical skills, and form a broader, mutually beneficial ecosystem to progress together in this era."
