Ahead of the 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE), when asked about global discussions on "decoupling" and "fragmentation", Michael Gelchie, the CEO of Louis Dreyfus Company (LDC) stated in an exclusive interview with China Daily that the company allocates capital in a scientific manner when evaluating global investments. He added that he sees the potential and fantastic growth opportunities in China as more and more people enter the middle class and the company will continue to invest in China's market.
