"The DPP authorities are unwilling to respect the historical fact of Taiwan's restoration. The Chinese mainland naturally shoulders this historical responsibility," said Taiwan commentator Chiu Yi during a grand gathering marking the 80th anniversary of Taiwan's restoration to China.
