Guquan converter station undergoes 7-day annual overhaul in Anhui

The Guquan converter station on the Changji-Guquan ultra-high voltage direct current (UHVDC) transmission line that transmits electricity from Xinjiang to East China is undergoing a 7-day annual overhaul started from Oct 17.

The Changji-Guquan transmission line, which was put into operation in September 2019, leads the world in terms of voltage level, transmission capacity and distance.
