Tens of thousands of people joined a pro-Palestinian march in central London on Saturday, a day after a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas took effect in Gaza.
Among them was a man of Polish descent, whose grandfather was killed during the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, the 1943 act of Jewish resistance in Nazi-occupied Poland.
He marched carrying a coffin, on which was written: "To be a Jew means always being with the oppressed, never with the oppressors."
