7.3-magnitude quake hits eastern coast of Kamchatka Peninsula, Russia: CENC

BEIJING - A 7.3-magnitude earthquake jolted the waters off the eastern coast of the Kamchatka Peninsula, Russia, at 10:37 am Saturday (Beijing Time), according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).

The epicenter was monitored at 53.05 degrees north latitude and 160.45 degrees east longitude. The earthquake struck at a depth of 20 km, the center said.
