Aviation events in Guangzhou highlight innovation, international cooperation
A series of aviation conferences and exhibitions were launched on Monday in Guangzhou, Guangdong province, highlighting the future of international cooperation and technological innovation in air travel.
The events, including the 2025 International Airport Expo and the 10th China Airport Services Conference, have drawn representatives from more than 170 airports and 190 aviation enterprises from over 70 countries.
The gathering also features two significant firsts: the Airport Experience Summit, hosted by Airports Council International for the first time in China, and the 17th Airport Working Group Meeting of the China-UK Joint Economic and Trade Commission.
On the exhibition floor, the focus is on smart technology, like AI-powered flight scheduling systems, smart luggage tracing, digital twin airport platforms, smart warehousing equipment, and other innovations.
According to Wang Ruiping, chairwoman of the China Civil Airports Association, these events form a crucial platform for exchange and display, signifying the sector's strong resolution to deepen international cooperation and advance high-quality development.
