Dongji Rescue holds European premiere in London

The European premiere of Dongji Rescue was held in London on Aug 15, coinciding with the anniversary of the Allies' victory over Japan in 1945. Inspired by the true story of Chinese fishermen who risked their lives during World War II to rescue British POWs from the sinking Lisbon Maru, the film struck a deep chord with audience members and brought together China's ambassador, filmmakers, and descendants of survivors to honor shared history and friendship.
