International Optoelectronic Expo opens in Changchun
Local research institutes, such as the Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Northeast Normal University, and Changchun University of Science and Technology, are participating in the expo, showcasing Changchun's research strength as the "cradle of China's optoelectronics industry".
The Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences brought its "black technologies", such as the extreme ultraviolet camera developed for the Chang'e 7 and Queqiao 2 relay satellites, which can capture the dynamics of extreme ultraviolet photons, helping scientists unravel the mystery of how solar activity affects Earth's space.
In the Optoelectronic Display and Laser Technology Area at Hall A2, companies such as BOE, Han's Laser, and Leyard showcase the latest applications, from flexible screens to laser cutting.
