Family of suspect in Colorado attack held
The family of a man suspected of attacking a Jewish protest march with Molotov cocktails in Colorado was being held by immigration officials on Tuesday. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said the wife and children of Mohamed Sabry Soliman had been detained. "We are investigating to what extent his family knew about this heinous attack, if they had knowledge of it, or if they provided support to it," she said. Soliman's immigration status has been at the center of the administration's response to the attack in the city of Boulder on Sunday, in which 12 people were injured.

WWII bombs spark evacuation in Cologne
Around 20,000 people were being evacuated from central Cologne on Wednesday after three unexploded World War II bombs were found, the biggest such operation in the German city since the end of the war. Bomb squad technicians were planning to defuse the three US explosives, two weighing 1,000 kilograms and one 500 kg, which were found during building work on Monday. Road and train lines were closed and city officials were going door to door to clear the evacuation zone of about 10,000 square meters.
