China, Egypt to engage in joint military training

The militaries of China and Egypt will jointly conduct training for the first time from April to May, China's Ministry of National Defense announced on Wednesday.
According to a consensus between the Chinese and Egyptian militaries, the People's Liberation Army Air Force will send a unit to Egypt for joint air force training from mid-April to early May, the ministry said in a statement.
It noted that this is the first time the Chinese and Egyptian militaries are organizing joint training, which holds significant importance for promoting practical cooperation and enhancing mutual friendship and trust between the two militaries.
