Chinese bronzes from 12th-19th centuries exhibited in New York

The Metropolitan Museum of Art held the opening ceremony of the special exhibition Recasting the Past: The Art of Chinese Bronzes, 1100–1900 on Thursday in New York City. The exhibition, co-organized by The Met museum and the Shanghai Museum, provides a rare opportunity for the world audience to better understand the profound impact of Chinese bronzes on the art and culture of China and the world.
