Shanghai's parks bloom with vibrant spring flowers

The Shanghai Expo Culture Park embraces spring with a vibrant display of flowers. Within its greenhouse gardens, various varieties of butterfly orchids, among others, are in full bloom. Beyond the greenhouses, the park features a New Year flower market, where visitors can purchase and admire traditional Chinese New Year flowers, as well as rare species from around the globe.

As an iconic flower of the season, the wintersweet is ready to spread its fragrance at the Century Park located in Pudong New Area. Opening 24 hours a day, this large free park in the city is home to over 500 wintersweet trees and over 4,000 plum blossom trees. It offers the best plum blossom views until March.
