Vice-premier to visit Singapore, Azerbaijan
Chinese Vice-Premier Ding Xuexiang will visit Singapore from Sunday to Monday and co-chair with Singaporean Deputy Prime Minister Gan Kim Yong a series of meetings under the bilateral cooperation mechanism, including the 20th meeting of the China-Singapore Joint Council for Bilateral Cooperation. After that, he will make a two-day trip to Azerbaijan starting Tuesday and attend the World Leaders Climate Action Summit as the special representative of President Xi Jinping, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning said on Friday. Ding will also pay a formal visit to the South Caucasus nation, a trip Mao said will further promote bilateral ties and benefit the two peoples.

First artwork by AI robot sells for $1.3m
A portrait of English mathematician Alan Turing became the first artwork by a humanoid robot to be sold at auction, fetching $1,320,000 on Thursday. The 2.2-meter portrait titled A.I. God by "Ai-Da", the world's first ultra-realistic robot artist, smashed pre-sale expectations of $180,000 when it went under the hammer at London auction house Sotheby's Digital Art Sale.
