The Ministry of Natural Resources released the 2024 China National Ecological Protection and Restoration Bulletin on Wednesday in Xiamen, Fujian province, outlining 75 years of ecological conservation efforts since the founding of the People's Republic of China.

The report, spanning more than 47,000 words, details China's progress in ecological protection practices and systems, encompassing both land and marine ecosystems. It also provides an updated overview of the nation's current ecological status. Additionally, the bulletin highlights several ecological restoration models unique to China, including the Saihanba mechanized forest farm, presenting "Chinese wisdom and solutions" for global ecological challenges.

Wang Lei, director of the Department of Land Space Ecology Restoration at the ministry, emphasized that the bulletin provides a comprehensive account of China's achievements in ecological conservation and restoration, underscoring the country's commitment to advancing ecological civilization.
