FM confirms border resolution with India
Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian confirmed on Tuesday that China has reached a resolution with India regarding their border issues after New Delhi said it had struck a deal with Beijing. "In recent times, China and India have maintained close communication through diplomatic and military channels on relevant border issues. Currently, the two sides have reached a resolution," Lin said at a regular news briefing in Beijing. China gave a positive comment on this resolution and will work with India on its implementation in the next stage, he added.

Razor-thin vote in favor of joining EU
A slim majority of Moldovans have voted in favor of amending the country's constitution to include the goal of joining the European Union, according to the final results of a referendum. With nearly all ballots counted, 50.46 percent of voters supported the amendment, while 49.54 percent opposed it, the Central Electoral Commission of Moldova said on Monday. It said 1,546,757 voters participated in the election, representing 51.4 percent of registered voters.

Envoy denies troop deployment to Russia
The Democratic People's Republic of Korea has not sent troops to Russia to help Moscow fight Ukraine, one of its United Nations representatives said on Monday, dismissing the Republic of Korea's claims as "groundless rumor". The ROK said on Friday that the DPRK sent a "large-scale" troop deployment to help Russia in its conflict with Ukraine. "As for the so-called military cooperation with Russia, my delegation does not feel any need for comment on such groundless stereotyped rumors," a DPRK representative said during a UN General Assembly.
