        Lai Ching-te's recent speech may appear mild, but the "two-state" fallacy is more deceitful and harmful. His provocations severely exacerbate the tense situation across the Taiwan Strait, being a risk of triggering a conflict, said Zhang Chi, a professor at the PLA National Defense University, in an interview with China Daily.
