Auto parts manufacturer makes innovation a habit
Over the past decade, Liu Guoshuai, assistant general manager and manager of the production manufacturing department of Changchun Yidong Clutch Co in Changchun, Jilin province, has actively participated in various reforms and innovations in the company and witnessed high-quality development.
Liu, 38, was recruited by the company after graduating from Liaoning University of Technology in 2011.
"Continuous innovation is the soul of our manufacturing enterprises," Liu said. "The company adheres to technological innovation, delving deep into the field of automotive parts. The two major series of products we developed and produced — heavy-duty truck clutches and hydraulic lifting mechanisms — sell well in both domestic and overseas markets."
The company's domestic market share of heavy-duty truck clutches is close to 30 percent; its hydraulic lifting mechanism products have reached 35 percent.
In addition to establishing a research and development center at its Changchun headquarters, the company in 2017 also took advantage of the talent aggregation of the Yangtze River Delta region to establish a research and development center in Suzhou, Jiangsu province. It employed a collaborative development model.
