China has signed a memorandum of understanding on copyright with Cambodia, signifying that the exchange of the two sides in the field of intellectual property has been further increased.

The MOU, as one of the major achievements made at the Third Belt and Road High-Level Conference on Intellectual Property, was signed between the China National Copyright Administration and Cambodia's ministry of culture and arts on Wednesday.

While praising the MOU is an important fruit in strengthening the bilateral exchange on copyright, the administration said that it will also help expand China's influence in copyright worldwide and set a good example for other Southeast Asian countries to advance similar cooperation.

Under the MOU, the two sides can regularly exchange legal and technical information on copyright, and the copyright administrators and technicians from both countries can increase communication through visits and training.
