Typhoon Yagi leaves 82 dead; 64 still missing
Typhoon Yagi and the landslides and floods it triggered in northern Vietnam have killed at least 82 people, with 64 others missing, the disaster management agency said on Tuesday. Most were killed in landslides and flash floods, the agency said in a report, adding the province of Cao Bang had the highest number of casualties with 19 deaths and 36 people still missing. The typhoon made landfall on Saturday on Vietnam's northeastern coast, bringing heavy rains that caused floods and landslides.

Ukraine strikes Moscow in biggest drone attack
Ukraine struck the Moscow region on Tuesday in its biggest drone attack so far on the Russian capital, killing at least one woman, wrecking dozens of homes and forcing around 50 flights to be diverted from airports around Moscow. Russia said it destroyed at least 20 Ukrainian attack drones as they swarmed over the Moscow region. At least one person was killed near Moscow, Russian authorities said.

Princess completes chemo treatment
The United Kingdom's Princess of Wales said on Monday that she has completed her chemotherapy treatment for cancer. "As the summer comes to an end, I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment," 42-year-old Princess Kate said in a video where she was seen spending time with her family in Norfolk, east England. The princess said she's looking forward to being back at work and undertaking a few more public engagements in the coming months.
