China mulls amendment to Supervision Law

BEIJING -- Chinese lawmakers are deliberating a draft amendment to the Supervision Law, the country's primary legislation for combating corruption.
The draft has been submitted to an ongoing session of the National People's Congress Standing Committee for a first review.
The draft amendment remains largely unchanged, with improvements made regarding the general provisions of the law and provisions on areas such as supervision measures, procedures and international cooperation in anti-corruption efforts, among others.
