Corrupt official removed from Party in Henan
Yang Jiansheng, former member of the Party committee of the People's Procuratorate of Henan Province and director of the Anti-Corruption and Bribery Bureau, has been expelled from the Party due to serious disciplinary and legal violations, according to the provincial discipline inspection commission and supervisory commission on Sunday.
The investigation found that Yang had compromised his loyalty to the Party by losing his ideals and beliefs, betraying his original aspirations and missions, and resisting organizational scrutiny.
He was found to have accepted gifts improperly, engaged in activities that could compromise the fair execution of official duties and used his authority for personal gain.
Besides being expelled from the Party, Yang also had his entitlements revoked and his ill-gotten gains confiscated. He has been referred to the procuratorate for investigation and prosecution of suspected criminal offenses, with all assets involved transferred accordingly.
