Hubei farmers harvest wheat with help from local government

Farmers in Xiangzhou district of Xiangyang, Hubei province, have been busy harvesting wheat in recent days on 1,525,000 mu (101,667 hectares) of farmland.

Since the district's large-scale wheat harvest began on May 23, Xiangzhou district's agriculture and rural affairs bureau has sent over 6,000 large combine harvesters to help reap the wheat.
