Action taken over Chongqing Gas Group overcharging

Chongqing Gas Group is to refund all overcharged gas fees from recent months to users, it was announced at a media conference on Friday evening.

In recent months, some citizens in Chongqing had reported abnormal gas fees and an investigation was launched to find out why.

Chongqing Gas Group has been instructed to fully refund the overcharged fees and it has been recommended to relieve Che Dechen, secretary of the Party Committee of Chongqing Gas Group, of his duties.
