Slovenia's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Tanja Fajon will pay an official visit to China from Tuesday to Sunday, Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian said on Monday. This will be the second visit to China by a national leader of Slovenia in five years, which Lin said is expected to further consolidate bilateral political mutual trust and deepen cooperation in various areas. Fajon will be joined by a business delegation during the visit, he said. "It fully demonstrates that entrepreneurs from Slovenia as well as Europe have high expectations to achieve high level mutual benefits," he said. China stands ready to work with Slovenia to promote the sound and steady growth of China-Slovenia and China-Europe relations, he said.
