China is a partner of Germany and Europe in terms of win-win cooperation and common development, and the common interests between them far outweigh their differences, Foreign Minister Wang Yi said on Friday. Wang said Beijing "attaches great importance to China-Germany and China-EU relations". Wang stated his hope to Ischinger to continue driving the Munich Security Conference in making contributions to deepening exchanges and cooperation between China, Germany and the EU, and to focus on listening to the voices of developing countries and pooling more strengths to solve common global challenges. Ischinger said he highly values exchanges and cooperation with China, thanked China for its active support to the Munich Security Conference over the years, and that he is willing to further promote the cooperative relationship between the two sides. He also expressed his willingness to deepen mutual understanding and trust between China and Germany and between China and Europe.

FBI chief concerned about possible attack
FBI Director Christopher Wray warned lawmakers on Thursday that there is a growing fear among law enforcement officials of a "coordinated attack" inside the United States, after an assault claimed by the Islamic State on a concert hall in Moscow last month killed 145 people and wounded hundreds more. The March 23 attack in Moscow by the terror group's Afghanistan affiliate has raised concerns that the group could carry out similar attacks in the US and Europe. Wray has issued similar warnings about threats to US security in the past.
