Exhibition showcases six generations of He family's masterpieces in Wuhan

An ongoing exhibition in Wuhan, Hubei province, is showcasing a remarkable collection of ink artworks from the He family, spanning six generations and over two centuries. Hosted at the Wuhan Masses Art Center, the exhibition features over 100 ink paintings by the esteemed artist He Liangpu, alongside an additional 100 pieces from various members of the He family, including the youngest contributor from the 21st century.

He Liangpu, a multifaceted figure who served as an educator, artist, and poet during the 19th century, notably imparted his knowledge of ink painting at Peking University. His oeuvre predominantly focused on landscapes, capturing the splendid beauty of nature.
