Chinese desert cat released into the wild in Qinghai

A male adult Chinese desert cat found stealing food from a villager's house in Menyuan county of Qinghai province has been released into the wild after being rescued by the wildlife rescue and breeding station in the Qilian Mountain National Park. As a first-class nationally protected species, it has been equipped with a tracking collar to monitor its future activities and collect data for species research.
