Lin Wu, Party chief of Shandong province, met with Angolan President Joao Lourenco and his delegation on March 16.

Lin noted that Shandong is steadfastly implementing new development models, accelerating the construction of a green, low-carbon, high-quality development pilot zone, and further consolidating its economic recovery. Angola is strategically located and contains plentiful resources, which complement Shandong's economy well, offering broad prospects for cooperation between the two sides. He believes that President Lourenco's visit to Shandong will further boost cooperation between Shandong and Angola in various fields such as economy, trade, and investment.

Lourenco expressed his pleasure at visiting Shandong, noting that in recent years, many Chinese companies have participated in project construction and industrial development in Angola. Angola has tremendous development potential, and during his visit to Shandong, he aims to personally experience the development of Chinese enterprises and strengthen cooperation between enterprises from both sides. He said that Angola can learn from China's development experience to improve agricultural production and industrialization. He also welcomed Chinese companies to invest in Angola to achieve mutual benefit and win-win development for both sides.
