Wuxi introduces measures to enhance convenience for foreign nationals

The Wuxi government has implemented 10 measures to ease the entry and residence of foreign nationals in the city, specifically targeting challenges faced in business, education and tourism.
These measures aim to position Wuxi as an attractive destination for foreign investment while promoting high-level openness and development. Wuxi is the first city in Jiangsu province to introduce such measures.
The measures include the creation of six scenarios of convenience for foreign nationals, covering areas such as entry and exit procedures, payment methods, business and work facilitation, living and travel arrangements, consumption, and education and healthcare services.
These initiatives aim to simplify processes for foreign nationals visiting China, improve payment options, provide guidance for foreign investment, enhance living conditions for foreign residents, and extend educational and healthcare support to foreigners.
The Wuxi Municipal Bureau of Commerce has expressed its commitment to collaborating with relevant departments to address key issues and obstacles faced by foreign nationals.
Practical measures and service innovations will be introduced to attract more foreign talent and investors to Wuxi, enhancing the city's global profile, according to the bureau of commerce.
