US and China students meet for friendly ping-pong tournament

Friendship games of ping-pong played in Shanghai saw 12 students from the University of Virginia take on peers from Fudan University and Shanghai University of Sport. The students viewed it as a chance to deepen cultural understanding between the two nations. Many of them formed strong friendships with their counterparts, calling it a valuable opportunity to gain broader insights into Chinese culture which they want to share back home.
