Skiing festival draws international crowd to Changchun

The 22nd China Changchun Jingyuetan Vasaloppet International Skiing Festival kicked off on Thursday at Jingyuetan National Scenic Area in Changchun, Jilin province.

Following the opening ceremony, athletes competed in three competitions — a 50-kilometer, 25-km, and 2.5-km race.

More than 700 cross-country skiers and enthusiasts from 26 countries and regions participated, including China, Sweden, the United States, Finland and Japan.
