Thrilling wingsuit flying show stuns spectators in Yunnan

Four athletes from China and France recently presented an extraordinary wingsuit flying performance at the Nujiang River Valley in Lushui city, Yunnan province, eliciting screams and cheers from the audience.
Wingsuit flying is an extreme sport wherein athletes wearing wingsuits leap from mountaintops, cliffs, tall buildings, or helicopters without any protective measures.
They fall through the air, open their parachutes to decelerate at a certain altitude, and then land.
On Wednesday, the four athletes boarded a helicopter at the Nujiang Ethnic Sports Stadium and ascended to over 2,000 meters above Daying Mountain.
Wearing wingsuits, they leaped from the aircraft and flew through the gap between two of the mountain's peaks at approximately 180 kilometers per hour.
At an altitude of around 200 meters, the athletes opened their parachutes and finally landed on an island.
The entire flight lasted about 20 minutes.
