Watch the Geminid meteor shower light up the Yunnan sky

From the late evening of Dec 14 to the early hours of the next day, the Geminid meteor shower peaked, captivating observers as fireballs streaked across the sky above Lijiang, Yunnan province.

The mesmerizing show bathed the snow-capped Yulong Mountain in a celestial glow, transforming the night into a dazzling spectacle.

Lijiang embraced the best time for stargazing from Dec 14 to 17.
