The Yan'ge Lake in Yinchuan, Ningxia Hui autonomous region, has become a station for hundreds of black-headed gulls to feed, rest and play during migration.

Liu Yutian, who has lived there for about 20 years, said the lake's ecosystem has improved and is now popular among birds. The scenery also attracts a lot of tourists and photographers.
