With cold coming, Guizhou farmers hurry their harvest

With a cold wave approaching, farmers are hurrying to harvest sweet potatoes in the fields of Danzhai county in Qiandongnan Miao and Dong autonomous prefecture of Guizhou province.

The coldest air so far this winter is sweeping across large parts of China. According to the Guizhou meteorological bureau, the province could see temperatures plunge by more than 20 C.
