Winter tourism warms up in ice and snow

With the opening of various ice and snow entertainment parks around the country, China's winter tourism is warming up thanks to the "fairy tale world" of ice and snow.

The 27th Changchun Ice and Snow Festival kicked off on Dec 12 in Changchun Ice and Snow New World, Northeast China's Jilin province, covering an area of 1.56 million square meters.

To celebrate this festival about 428,000 cubic meters of ice and 310,000 cubic meters of snow have been used, and 120 groups of ice and snow buildings have been built.

Five major theme areas and over 30 ice and snow entertainment projects have also been established to meet the diversified demands of visitors.
