Huang Meijiao, a post-90s chief flight steward of West Air, an airline based in Chongqing, has accumulated more than 8,000 hours of flight time over the past 11 years. Her aviation journey began at the age of 21 when she first flew as a flight attendant.
During her over a decade-long career, Huang has not only transformed from a novice flight attendant to a well-seasoned chief flight steward, but also witnessed the rapid development of China's civil aviation industry. One example is how West Air has expanded its number of aircraft from 8 to 39.
