Taiwan headmaster revives traditional Chinese culture

Hsiao Yung-ray, a Taiwan headmaster in the Chinese mainland, has been dedicated to carrying forward fine traditional Chinese culture through education.

Hsiao, born in Taipei city of Taiwan, returned to her hometown in Central China's Wuhan city in 2001. Having made her fortune in the real estate business, Hsiao turned her eyes to education.

By establishing the Wuhan Meiga Academy and teaching traditional Chinese culture to students, Hsiao aims to cultivate citizens who are proud of Chinese culture and proud of being Chinese.
