101 Mansion, situated on Taiwan Road in the old town of Zhangzhou, Fujian province, brings young people together with tea, golf, souvenirs and more.

The mansion is a commercial building with various businesses established by Taiwan youths, which began its trial operation last year.

The initial inspiration for the mansion stemmed from a brainstorming session during the COVID-19 pandemic when several young people from Taiwan faced difficulties with their businesses. As a solution, they came up with the idea of creating a tearoom that also incorporated indoor golf activities, which quickly gained popularity after operation.

Tseng Kuan-ying, a founder, is part of the third generation of Taiwan individuals who have moved to the Chinese mainland for development. He said, "Taiwan youths like us in Zhangzhou place a strong emphasis on cross-Strait integration, so we think about how 101 Mansion can represent the integration of both sides."

Tseng said that he hopes to use modern tea beverages to help more young people understand tea culture. Additionally, he aims to introduce more Taiwan specialties at the mansion's souvenir shop, turning it into a showcase for products from Taiwan businesses and enterprises in Zhangzhou.
