Israeli diplomat's family member stabbed by foreigner in Beijing

A family member of an Israeli diplomatic personnel was stabbed by a foreigner in front of a supermarket in Zuojiazhuang of Beijing's Chaoyang district at around 2 pm on Friday, Chaoyang police said on Friday night.
The victim is a 50-year-old male, and the 53-year-old male suspect has been arrested, according to a statement issued by the Chaoyang Branch of Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau on its official WeChat account.
Preliminary investigation shows that the suspect engages in a small commodity business in Beijing, said the statement, adding that the case is still under further investigation.
