Trans-Himalaya forum promotes ecological conservation, sustainable development

The 3rd China Xizang Trans-Himalaya Forum for International Cooperation was held in Nyingchi, Tibet autonomous region, last week.

The three-day event brought together representatives from more than 40 countries and regions, including Pakistan, Afghanistan, Italy and Norway, as well as international organizations.

"Good neighbors are more valuable than gold. The essence of the forum is to pursue mutual trust and cooperation on issues that are critical to the region," said Luamanuvae Albert Mariner, the Samoan ambassador to China.
