Ripening crops provide visual extravaganza

Crops in the Chongli district of Zhangjiakou, Hebei province, have gradually ripened in recent days. Seen from the sky, the neatly arranged terraced fields form a colorful picture, presenting unusual autumn views.
A photographer took pictures of crops in Shiyihao village in Shizigou township, showing a vast area of golden hulless oats. The oats are usually sown in May and ripen in early September. The harvest has begun.
