Red tourism in Yan'an amazes overseas visitors

International friends, particularly young people, are amazed by Chinese culture and history via red tourism in Yan'an, Northwest China's Shaanxi province.

Red tourism refers to a type of tourism that involves visiting historical sites and museums related to the communist movement. It is very popular in China, where it is seen as a way to promote patriotism and inform the public of the history of the Communist Party of China. It has also attracted many overseas visitors.

"It is my first time to come to China. It's an amazing country with an amazing and deep culture. I visited Yan'an city. It was perfect because it has so many wonderful performances," said Fozilzoda Firdavs, a visitor and businessman from Tajikistan in an exclusive interview with China Daily at Golden Yan'an scenic spot in Yan'an.
