Xi extends condolences to Libyan Presidency Council head over deadly storm

President Xi Jinping on Tuesday extended a message of condolences to Mohamed Menfi, president of the Libyan Presidency Council, over the deadly storm in Libya.
In his message, Xi said that he was shocked to learn of the devastating storm in the country, which has caused heavy casualties and property losses.
On behalf of the Chinese government and people, Xi mourned deeply for the victims, conveyed sincere sympathies to the bereaved families and the injured. Xi also expressed his belief that the Libyan people will surely overcome the impact of the disaster.
