Seven people went missing and three others have been injured after mudslides caused by torrential rain rushed into local villages and roads in Xiahe county, Gansu province early on Thursday, according to local authorities.

The injured people have been sent to the hospital and are not in life-threatening condition, the Xiahe emergency management bureau said.
