"We have made products with traditional elements such as Tang suits and hanfu costumes. We would like to integrate our traditional culture with the contemporary products favored by young people, so as to promote our traditional culture," said Wang Ning, Chairman and CEO of Pop Mart International Group, an art toy maker in China.

"We hope that in the future, apart from inheriting our culture, we can also make it more international while staying true to our own roots. So that we can share with the world the richness of our culture."

This year's Beijing Culture Forum, co-organized by the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, the municipal Party committee, and the government of Beijing, will be held from Sept 14 to 15 in the capital. Here are a series of talks with celebrities covering various fields such as calligraphy, literature, dance, and opera.
