This summit will define the future of BRICS, as new members are expected to join. There needs to be a balance of power, and things cannot be decided only by the G7.

The summit will bring benefits to South Africa in many ways. It has brought South Africa to global attention, the tourism sector will benefit a lot and a lot of tourists will follow, and international investment will also increase.

BRICS is about multilateralism. It's not about one country dominating an organization. I hope that as more participants join BRICS, the more we will help each other to develop.

I think BRICS is a fantastic initiative. This summit is massively important for South Africa, which is coming out of the COVID-19 pandemic, to gain economic growth and deepen bilateral ties.
