A team of media professionals went on an experiential tour of Northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region from July 27 to 30.
They went to cities and counties in southern Xinjiang, including Bayingolin Mongol autonomous prefecture, Aksu, and Alaer, to learn about the development of local featured industries, cultural heritage preservation and utilization, and progress in rural vitalization, as well as to experience the rich folk customs and traditions of southern Xinjiang.
